With a passion for music and sound that spans across various creative domains, I have accumulated a wealth of experience in the worlds of film scoring, music production, and sound for media.

🏫 Education:

  • Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Media Composition from the University of Chichester

  • Bachelor's Degree in Applied Music from Box Hill Institute

  • Certificate IV in Classical Music Composition from Edith Cowan University

  • Diverse certifications in live sound, electronic music production, and sound engineering from SAE Institute Australia

    🎼 Professional Journey:

  • Currently, I am a Lecturer at Box Hill Institute, where I specialize in Film Scoring, Music Production, and Sound for Media. I also play a role as a music studio technician, shaping the talents of future industry professionals.

  • As a co-owner of Oracle Music, I craft compelling scores and soundscapes for films, television, and games, offering a platform for creative exploration and collaboration.

  • My journey in original media composition began in 2018 and continues to evolve, enriched by a mentorship with the esteemed George Papanicolaou.

  • In the past, I've contributed as a Piano Teacher at Prestige Academy and Hands On Music, nurturing aspiring musicians in their artistic pursuits.

  • I've also lent my musical prowess as a Music Composer for trailers, commercials, and library music at AudioForce, honing my skills in creating captivating soundtracks.

  • My internship at Audio Chemistry, where I served as a Sound Designer and Metadata Encoder, provided valuable industry insights and enhanced my sound design expertise.

    🏆 Achievements:

  • Nominated for Best Short Film at the AACTA awards (signed by Russell Crowe) and Winner of Best Film at IFFA 2023 for "Hatchback."

  • Shortlisted for AACTA's Best Drama for "They Called Me Keith" in 2021.

  • Recognition for Best Score at the OzSnax Short Film Awards for "Rabbits" in 2021.

  • Nominations for Best Score and Sound at the ASSG awards in 2021 for "Today," which was also an official selection at DUST.

  • Nominated for Best Score in 2019 for "My Box and Me."

  • "Westall," a documentary I worked on, won Best Short Film at the Sydney Sci-Fi Film Festival in 2018.

  • Recipient of the AVCAT Bursary in 2018.

  • Awarded Best Student of the Year (Composition) by Box Hill Institute, sponsored by Ableton and Native Instruments in 2018, along with Best Film Score in 2019.

  • My journey is a testament to my dedication to the art of music composition and sound design.
